Event information

The scientific programme is available here.

The conference is organised as a joint event under the partnership of Euromech and IUTAM. It bears the double designation of a Euromech Colloquium and IUTAM Symposium, and it is supported by the ERCOFTAC SIG 39. Moreover, the meeting is supported by the European project E-CAero2 as a joint EUROMECH-ERCOFTAC event. Participation is invitation-based, and the abstract submission is now closed.

The event is hosted by École polytechnique, and it is held on its campus near Paris. On-campus and near-campus accomodation is available, but the campus is also easy to reach from the inner city of Paris.

The program extends over three days, September 28-30. Oral presentations will be given in morning and afternoon plenary sessions.

The opening keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Ulf Michel (CFD Software E+F Berlin).

The registration fee is €300 for non-student participants, and €200 for students. Non-members of Euromech will gain membership for one year, for a mandatory additional fee of €24.

Proceedings will be published in a dedicated issue of Procedia IUTAM (open-access, free of charge), in accordance with IUTAM guidelines.

The conference marks the end of the first funding period of the Cool Jazz project, supported by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche.

For any queries, please send an email to the organisation committee at jetnoise@ladhyx.polytechnique.fr.

Presentations

Each presenter will be given a 20 minute time slot, including questions and transition. Ample time will be reserved for separate discussion rounds.

VKI Lecture Series

The conference is held jointly with a lecture series on "Measurement, simulation and control of subsonic and supersonic jet noise", organised by the Von Karman Institute. The lecture series will run on the two days preceding the conference (September 26 and 27), at the same venue. Participants are cordially invited to register separately for this event.
